This original photo, of a diamond ring, suffered from a few issues: yellow color cast, reflections and dust—commonly exposed in macro product shots.

In Photoshop, tonal adjustments were made and a natural white balance was achieved. Precise retouching was required to remove the red reflections found on the outside curves of the ring. Finally, the speckles of dust were removed by using Photoshop's healing brush. The end result is ready for marketing print materials.
